Gary McGaghey joined Williams Lea Tag because of his experience managing financial departments and cutting costs. He’s now leading the charge as he cuts expenses and restructures the company. Gary McGaghey joined Williams Lea Tag because of his experience managing financial departments and cutting costs. He’s now leading the charge as he cuts expenses and restructures the company. He was previously a chief financial officer of international companies. Before joining Williams Lea Tag as CEO, Gary worked at Robertsons, Unilever, and Nelsons. At Robertsons, he held positions such as Chief Operating Officer, COO, Finance Director, and VP of Logistics. While at Unilever, he was CFO, and later, he became Vice President of Logistics. When Unilever merged into Nelsons, he took over as CEO. Before joining Williams Lea Tag as CEO, Gary worked at Robertsons, Unilever, and Nelsons. He served as the CFO of Nelson for about 2 years. He was there from May 2017-June 2019. Before that, he worked at Unilever for around 3 years. He was there for a while but didn’t do much. A bit later, he was with PepsiLipton international and finally got promoted.

Gary studied Business Administration at the University of Natal and the University of South Africa. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Management Accountant as well. On top of these degrees, he is a Non-Executive Director and a Certified Public Accountant. Gary has both a Bachelor’s Degree and a Post Graduate Degree in Commerce and a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Management Accountant qualification. Most people’s day isn’t as busy as this! He exercises first thing in the morning, around 7 am, and then spends most of his day making phone calls and attending meetings until 5 pm. After work, he reads documents in the evenings and sometimes goes for a walk.
